Ban Khieng Waterfall - A stream flowing through the primeval forests of Mau Son Ban Khieng Waterfall is a scenic site located in the Mau Son mountain region, distinguished by a stream approximately 1.5 km long originating from the Mau Son rocky mountain area. The waterfall is situated between the Po Noc and Choc Xien mountain ranges, at an altitude of about 350 meters above sea level. Both sides of the stream are covered by natural forest, creating a landscape with high greenery density and a sense of isolation from residential areas. This is also designated as site number 34 on route 4 of the Lang Son Geopark. The water flow at Ban Khieng does not concentrate into a single waterfall tier but cascades through various rapids, stone steps, and small pools. Over time, the flow has eroded the rock surface, creating diverse natural formations combined with clear pools where the bottom is visible. The stream bed terrain changes continuously between flowing sections, rocky banks, and mountain crevices, creating multiple layers of scenery within the same area. The combination of waterfalls, mountain rocks, forests, and stream terrain provides visual material suitable for feature films, short films, music videos, commercials, and documentaries. The location can be utilized for scenes depicting pristine nature, exploration journeys, survival themes, or sequences requiring imagery of the Northeast mountains and forests with continuously moving water.
