Ban Men - A Thai cultural space in the heart of Dien Bien valley Located in Thanh Nua Commune, Dien Bien Province, approximately 5 km from the center of Dien Bien Phu City via National Highway 12, Ban Men is a representative cultural tourism village deeply connected to the long-standing lifestyle of the Black Thai community. The village spans nearly 70 hectares, with about 45 hectares dedicated to farmland. Its landscape is defined by traditional stilt houses, rice paddies, village paths, and communal living spaces. The village's terrain is relatively independent on flat land, creating a harmonious transition between residential areas, fields, and the surrounding mountainous landscape. The daily life of the residents revolves around rice cultivation, farming, animal husbandry, brocade weaving, and traditional cultural activities, providing a rich tapestry of authentic local life. From a visual perspective, the system of stilt houses, village paths, fields, traditional costumes, handicrafts, and communal spaces allows for diverse framing, from wide shots of the village to close-ups of daily life and labor. With its distinct indigenous cultural characteristics, Ban Men is suitable as a backdrop for feature films, documentaries, travelogues, and works exploring mountain life, ethnic culture, and the Northwest community.
