The box office race for the September 2nd holiday has concluded with "Summer Vacation, Retirement Fear" leading the charts. Huynh Lap's film has far surpassed "The Rich-Kid Challenge" and "Guardian Warriors: Mystery of the Dinh King's Tomb." The results bring an end to an unpredictable film season, in which Huynh Lap benefited greatly from an early screening strategy, while the lackluster performance of the historical epic left many disappointed.

According to data from Box Office Vietnam, "Summer Vacation, Retirement Fear" topped the rankings with over 13.13 billion VND on September 2nd. The film sold nearly 128,000 tickets across 2,658 screenings on the final day of the holiday. After nearly two weeks in theaters, Huynh Lap's work has reached a total gross of over 173.2 billion VND.

Ranking second is "The Rich-Kid Challenge" directed by Nguyen Quang Dung. The film grossed over 8 billion VND on September 2nd, selling approximately 77,500 tickets across 2,031 screenings. The film's total revenue by the end of the holiday reached over 36.8 billion VND.

"Guardian Warriors: Mystery of the Dinh King's Tomb" stood in third place with nearly 3.94 billion VND for the day, equivalent to over 35,600 tickets across 1,545 screenings. After nearly a week of release, the historical epic by director Nguyen Phan Quang Binh has grossed a total of over 24.38 billion VND.

On the final day of the holiday, the revenue of "Summer Vacation, Retirement Fear" was more than 1.6 times higher than "The Rich-Kid Challenge" and more than three times that of "Guardian Warriors."

The subsequent positions on the September 2nd chart belong to "Chiikawa: The Movie," "Hope," the re-release of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," "Human Trafficking," and the animated film "Shin - Crayon Shin-chan." The market offered many choices, but no other work had the strength to change the landscape among the top three Vietnamese films.

Before the holiday, the competition was predicted to be unpredictable. "Summer Vacation, Retirement Fear" was in the lead but had already been in theaters for over a week. "The Rich-Kid Challenge" featured Thu Trang, Tien Luat, and director Nguyen Quang Dung. Meanwhile, "Guardian Warriors" attracted attention due to its production scale, historical subject matter, and a cast including Quach Ngoc Ngoan, Johnny Tri Nguyen, Tuan Tran, People's Artist Tu Long, and Tran Thien Tu.
