Phuong Hoang Pass - A historical landmark amidst the mountains and forests. Phuong Hoang Pass, also identified in heritage records as M’Drak – Phuong Hoang Pass, is located on National Highway 26, bordering Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa provinces. The pass stretches approximately 10 km and is characterized by winding mountain roads, sharp curves, and steep gradients, flanked by rolling hills, cliffs, and rugged terrain. This natural setting provides a distinct topographical backdrop, ideal for recreating mountain routes, military marches, or battlefield scenes in historical film productions. The site's unique value lies in the combination of its mountainous landscape and the remnants of a significant military event. In late March 1975, the Phuong Hoang – M’Drak pass area was the site of a battle between the 10th Division and units coordinating with the 3rd Paratrooper Brigade. By the morning of April 1, 1975, the defensive line here was broken, clearing the path for the advance toward Khanh Hoa.
