Hollywood film featuring Trấn Thành's voice acting cools off at the Vietnamese box office

After more than a month in theaters, Minions & Monsters, featuring the voice acting of Tran Thanh, no longer maintains the same momentum as it did during its initial release.

According to data from Box Office Vietnam, as of the morning of August 13, Minions & Monsters has dropped out of the top 5 highest-grossing films of the day. The production currently ranks 6th, earning over 99 million VND with more than 1,000 tickets sold across over 200 screenings.
The gradual decline in appeal after more than a month of release is a predictable trend as the film enters the final stage of its theatrical run. Nevertheless, with a total gross of approximately 162 billion VND, Minions & Monsters can still be considered a success in the Vietnamese market, especially in a landscape where international animated films must compete with numerous other cinematic works.
This achievement demonstrates that the Minions franchise still commands a stable audience, while the inclusion of Vietnamese voice talent continues to be a factor that generates additional interest for Hollywood films when released in the domestic market.
