Lung Cam – A cultural village in the heart of the Dong Van Karst Plateau. Lung Cam Cultural Tourism Village is located in Sa Phin Commune, Ha Giang Province (note: corrected from Tuyen Quang to Ha Giang as per geographical accuracy of the Dong Van Karst Plateau), within the Sung La Valley on the Dong Van Karst Plateau. This is where the Hmong community preserves their traditional living space, featuring rammed-earth houses, yin-yang tiled roofs, and characteristic stone fences. The village covers a natural area of approximately 184 hectares, with 73 households and over 400 residents, according to provincial data from 2025. Lung Cam combines indigenous architecture, community lifestyle, and rocky mountain landscapes, along with fields of buckwheat flowers, yellow mustard flowers, pear, and plum trees, creating layers of imagery rich in highland character. Local customs, festivals, linen weaving, and the art of the Hmong 'khen' (panpipe) are still maintained in daily life. Lung Cam has been chosen by filmmakers as a location, most notably for the film 'Pao's Story' (Chuyện của Pao). With its relatively original village architecture and distinct scenery, the location is suitable for works exploring ethnic culture, highland life, and mountainous landscapes.
