The most cinematic highlight of the pagoda is its ancient, weathered 'Heaven Gate,' standing solitary amidst expansive rice paddies, framed by towering sugar palm trees against a blue sky and the cloud-covered Co To Mountain range in the distance. The gate features intricate carvings with a cluster of three small towers supported by sturdy pillars, topped with four-faced Bayon deities and stylized Nagar serpent motifs. From the gate, a 500m winding dirt path leads into the small, tree-shaded pagoda courtyard, offering unparalleled spatial depth for wide-angle shots.
