Truong Bon Historical Site

Located in My Son Commune, Do Luong District, Nghe An Province, the Truong Bon Historical Site is a national-level historical monument associated with Route 15A during the resistance war against the U.S. It was once a strategic transportation hub, marking the sacrifices of the Youth Volunteer forces, most notably the 13 soldiers of Company 317 who perished on October 31, 1968. The site is preserved and renovated over an area of approximately 217,327 m², featuring a tomb area with a protective structure, a memorial house, a traditional exhibition hall, a monument, a ceremonial plaza, a landscape lake, and green spaces. The space combines memorial structures, pine hills, open landscapes, and war-related artifacts, offering multiple layers of settings ranging from solemn indoor spaces to outdoor landscapes. Given its historical characteristics and memorial atmosphere, Truong Bon is suitable for historical films, war dramas, and documentaries, particularly for scenes recreating the resistance era, commemorations, and war memories.
