My Son Sanctuary – A Champa Heritage amidst the mountains and forests. My Son Sanctuary is a UNESCO World Heritage Site inscribed in 1999, renowned for its complex of temples and towers representing the Champa civilization, which flourished from the 4th to the 13th century. Throughout most of the Champa Kingdom's existence, My Son served as a vital religious and political center. The monument complex is situated in a high geological basin, surrounded by mountain ranges and connected to the Thu Bon River basin.
