The park features a core area of over 91,000 hectares, situated within the North Truong Son ecosystem and bordering the Vietnam-Laos border. It is an area of high biodiversity value, characterized by numerous natural forest ecosystems. Pu Mat's landscape is defined by evergreen forests, mountainous terrain, rivers, streams, and valleys, providing multiple layers of natural scenery for filming. The terrain features significant elevation changes, with the Pu Mat peak reaching approximately 1,814 meters, allowing for shots ranging from panoramic landscapes to close-ups within the forest. The biodiversity also provides excellent conditions for nature-focused and conservation-themed productions. With its pristine landscape and diverse terrain, Pu Mat is suitable for nature documentaries, adventure, survival, exploration, environmental films, and socio-historical works requiring a North Central mountainous setting.
