Hoang Phuc Pagoda - An ancient Buddhist relic in Quang Tri. Hoang Phuc Pagoda, also known as Kinh Thien Pagoda or Quan Pagoda, is located in Tan My Commune, Quang Tri Province. With a history spanning over 700 years, the pagoda is associated with various stages of Buddhist history and the formation and development of the former Quang Binh region. In 2015, Hoang Phuc Pagoda was recognized as a National Historical Relic. The contextual value of Hoang Phuc Pagoda lies in its Buddhist space, which has been restored and renovated on the foundation of a long-standing religious site. The current structure was reconstructed starting in 2014 and completed in 2016 as part of efforts to preserve and promote the value of the relic. The pagoda's space is linked to festivals, sermons, refuge-taking ceremonies, and religious activities, providing opportunities to capture imagery of architecture, rituals, and contemporary Buddhist life. Given its historical value and Buddhist cultural space, this location is suitable for documentaries, cultural-historical films, and works exploring religious life, the transformation of heritage, and community culture. The setting is also appropriate for scenes depicting Buddhist practices and traditional festivals, subject to approval from the management board.
