Con Dao National Park

Located in the Con Dao Special Administrative Unit, Con Dao National Park is a key national nature reserve, recognized as a Ramsar Site in 2013 and an ASEAN Heritage Park in 2023. The park was established under Decision No. 135/QD-TTg dated March 31, 1993, by the Prime Minister. The heritage site spans nearly 20,000 hectares, combining tropical primary forest conservation with marine protection. Its landscape features mangrove forests, steep cliffs, pristine beaches, and ancient coral reefs, offering multiple layers of space and cinematic angles with great visual depth. The park encompasses 14 islands within the Con Son archipelago, boasting an original forest-marine ecosystem and endemic flora and fauna, creating a unique harmony between natural light and diverse topography. With its strictly preserved biodiversity and natural landscape, the location is well-suited for survival films, adventure films, science fiction, and nature-environmental documentaries, subject to park management regulations and filming permits.
