Sung La Valley – Dong Van Karst Plateau Landscape Sung La Valley is located along National Highway 4C, within the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, Ha Giang province. Surrounded by jagged limestone mountain ranges, the valley creates a characteristic landscape of the northern mountainous region, featuring villages and traditional rammed-earth houses nestled amidst the rocky terrain. From the mountain passes and high vantage points along the route, one can observe a panoramic view of the valley, with patches of fields, crops, and residential areas stretching across the terrain. In spring, the landscape is highlighted by plum, pear, and peach blossoms; around October–November, buckwheat flowers add vibrant colors to the highland scenery. Within the valley lies the Lung Cam Cultural Tourism Village, which preserves the traditional housing architecture and cultural life of the local community. A house in Lung Cam was famously used as a filming location for the movie 'Pao's Story' (Chuyện của Pao). With its rocky terrain, expansive valley, indigenous architecture, and seasonal floral changes, Sung La offers multiple layers of scenery for productions exploring highland life, ethnic culture, and mountainous nature.
