Quang Ninh Museum – Mining region architectural setting. Quang Ninh Museum is a landmark architectural structure by Ha Long Bay, blending cultural space, history, and urban landscape. Located on Tran Quoc Nghien Street, Ha Long Ward, Quang Ninh Province, within the coastal area of Ha Long Bay, the museum was inaugurated in 2013. It was designed by Spanish architect Salvador Perez Arroyo, with an architectural concept inspired by coal—the signature mineral of the Quang Ninh mining region. The architectural space is distinguished by its black glass exterior, which creates a reflective effect of the sea and the Ha Long sky. The museum's structure consists of thematic exhibition spaces covering nature, history, culture, and the coal mining industry of Quang Ninh. With its modern architectural form, reflective surfaces, indoor exhibition spaces, and location within a coastal urban complex, this site is a valuable reference for scenes involving contemporary architecture, culture, history, and urban life associated with the mining region.
