Co Ma Pass - A coastal route rich in historical significance Co Ma Pass is located on National Highway 1 in Dai Lanh Commune, Khanh Hoa Province, in the northern part of the province. The pass traverses coastal mountainous terrain, creating a direct transition between the mountainside, the road surface, and the seascape. Previous planning documents identified the Co Ma area as a vital connection point on the North-South transport corridor. The site's outstanding value lies not only in its landscape but also in its historical significance regarding transportation and resistance efforts. The History of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee (1930–1975) records that the Co Ma Pass railway tunnel was a strategic point held by soldiers and guerrilla militia during the early years of the resistance against the French. Regarding its value as a filming location, the winding terrain, mountainsides, and sea views provide excellent opportunities for capturing travel sequences, road transport, coastal nature, and historical-war films.
