Dong Loc Junction – A significant historical setting in Ha Tinh. The Dong Loc Junction Historical Site is located in Dong Loc Commune, Ha Tinh Province, as part of the Ho Chi Minh Trail network. Spanning approximately 50 hectares, the site is situated in a valley surrounded by hills and mountains; it was once a strategic traffic hub during the resistance war against the US. In 1989, it was classified as a national historical site, and on December 9, 2013, it was recognized as a special national historical site. The cinematic value of this location lies in the combination of its valley terrain, historical routes, and the existing memorial complex. The site includes the graves of the 10 female youth volunteers, the National Youth Volunteer Memorial Stele House, a museum, a combat diorama, the Bell Tower, and the Dong Loc Junction Temple. During the war, Dong Loc Junction was struck by nearly 50,000 bombs of various types.
